Javvarisi Semiya Payasam

#JavvarisiSemiyaPayasam is commonly done on special occasions, marriage feasts and festival days. It is very easy to prepare and also takes very less time to cook. There are two types of javvarisi ( sego - sabudhana ). The ordinary variety takes less time to soak well in water. The other one is generally called nylon javvarisi which takes very long time to soak and also to cook. Nylon javvarisi has to be fried in ghee until the globules become fluffy and cooked well before start preparing this payasam.
I have taken the ordinary one.
Approximately a cup of payasam can be prepared.

Milk gets reduced to less than a cup.
