#VegOmelette : I chose the name for this instant vegetable pancake since it is very soft like omelette. I have used grated carrot, capsicum, palak, mushroom and onion. It can also be prepared with any other vegetables. Approximately 2 pancakes can be made using the given ingredients.
Ingredients :
1/2 cup Green gram flour.
1 Tbsp Gram flour ( Besan )
1 Tsp Rice flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Cumin
1/2 Tsp Pepper grated ( Adjust )
1 small size Onion, nicely chop
3 Tbsp Carrot grated
2 Tbsp Capsicum nicely chopped
2 Tbsp Palak nicely chopped
3 Mushroom nicely chop
Oil to make adai.
Method :
Mix all flour with 1/2 cup of water into a thick batter.
Add all chopped vegetables and mix well.
Keep aside for 10 minutes.
Now heat a tawa on medium flame.
Spread oil over tawa and pour 1 1/2 ladle full of batter.
Spread evenly over the tawa. Sprinkle oil over and along the rims of adai.
Flip it using dosai ladle to cook the other side.
When both the sides are cooked well, transfer onto a serving plate.
Relish with coconut chutney
or sambar.
I like to relish with with jaggery.
