Tomato Soup

#TomatoSoup : I have tried different types of soups using all vegetables, greens and mushrooms except tomato. Two days back I wanted to try tomato soup. I saw chef Sanjeev Kapoors' video of making tomato soup.
After watching it I made the soup in my own way. Here we go

Can make approximately 1 1/2 cups.

Tomato Soup

Ingredients :
1 medium size                         Tomato, chop
3 cloves                                  Garlic, slice
1 small size                              Onion, slice

2 Tsp                                      Coriander green seeds
1/2 Tsp                                   Pepper
1 or 2                                     Bay leaves
1 Tbsp                                    Oats
1/2 Tsp                                   Oil
1 Tsp                                      Butter ( Optional )

To Season :
Pepper powder and coriander leaves.

Method :
Heat a kadai over slow flame with oil and butter.
Saute onion, garlic, bay leaves, coriander green seeds and then add pepper & tomatoes.
Saute for a minute and then add 1/2 cup of water.
Allow to sinner until the tomato becomes soft.

Switch off the stove and allow to cool down.
Now separate the cooked ingredients from liquid and make puree using a blender.

Again add the puree into the same kadai with cooked liquid.

If required add some more water also.
Heat over slow flame and add oats.

Simmer until required soup consistency is reached. Finally add salt.
