#PesarattuWithSproutedMothBeans : #Pesarattu is a protein rich food since lentil has been used in its preparation. I made it even more protein rich by using sprouted moth beans and also included amaranth flour and buckwheat flour. If you have sprouted lentil at home then it takes around 20 minutes to prepare tasty pesarattu.

Ingredients : | |

1/2 cup | Moth beans sprouted |
1 Tbsp | Amaranth flour |
1 Tsp | Buckwheat flour |
1 Tsp | Rice flour |
1/2 Tsp | Salt |
1/2 Tsp | Cumin seeds |
1 | Onion, chop nicely |
3 Tbsp | Coriander leaves chopped |
8 - 10 | Curry leaves |
A small piece of ginger [ optional ]
Method :
Take moth beans sprouts, cumin seeds, curry leaves and salt in mixer.
Grind coarsely adding required amount of water.
Transfer into a vessel and add all the given flours.
Mix well adding water.
The batter should be slightly thicker than dosai batter.
Heat a tawa on a stove over a medium flame.
Grease the tawa with oil and spread the batter evenly.
Sprinkle onion and coriander leaves over the pesarattu.
Add a dash of oil over the pesarattu.
Close with a lid.
Flip it once its rim turns golden color.
Transfer on to a plate after both sides have been cooked well.
Again repeat the same method to make pesarattu till the batter got over.
Serve hot with Coconut chutney or
any chutney of your choice.
