#GreenCorianderSeedsChutney : On Pongal day when we went to Vegetable market to buy greens and onions, we saw bunches of small plants with green pods. After close examination.we learned that those were coriander plants with seeds
I asked the vendor what could be prepared with these plants. Then she told that these seeds are used to garnish various dishes just like coriander leaves. I bought a bunch and after coming home separated all the seeds from the plant. Then stored them in fridge. Daily I am experimenting with these green coriander seeds. Let me give in detail how I prepared a chutney from these seeds.
Ingredients :
3 Tsp Green coriander seeds
1/2 Cup Coriander leaves chopped
10 to 12 Green chilly
8 to 10 Small Onion
1/2 Tsp Salt
Method :
Take all the ingredients in a jar of mixer grinder.
Grind without adding water.
The water content of onions and coriander leaves is enough to make into a paste.
If necessary add little water and grind into a coarse paste.
Transfer into a serving bowl.
Thats' it. Green chutney is ready!!
It tastes very good with Dosai and Idli.
