Papaya-Carrot-Salad

#PapayaCarrotSalad : #RawPapaya [ #UnripePapaya or #GreenPapaya] is a great source of vitamins, enzymes and phytonutrients. These phytonutrients and enzymes help in improving digestion and aids in strengthening immune system of our body. When it turns into fruit it loses some of the vital nutrients and enzymes. So it is advisable to include raw papaya in our daily diet.
We have already seen a recipe to prepare soup with green papaya. Now we will see another simple but tasty salad using raw papaya.

Papaya Carrot Salad


Ingredients :
1 cupRaw Papaya grated
1/4 cupCarrot grated
1 or 2Green chilly, finely chop [ adjust ]
1 TspCoriander leaves finely chopped
1 TspLemon Juice [ adjust ]
3/4 TspSalt [ Adjust ]
To Temper :
1/2 TspMustard seeds
1 TspGingelly oil [ til/sesame oil ]

Method :
Peel papaya and remove the seeds inside.
Grate and take in a bowl.
Add all the given ingredients and mix well.

Papaya Carrot Salad

Heat a kadai on a stove over medium flame.
Add oil and splutter mustard seeds.
Pour over the salad mix.
Adjust salt and lemon juice.
Enjoy crunchy and tasty papaya carrot salad!!..
